Job Opportunity - Clinical Applications Specialist

Physiquipe is a leading provider of medical technology for assessment, treatment and rehabilitation. We work with some of the best equipment on the market and act a consultant to our clients to offer the best solutions to their customers. We are currently recruiting a clinician for an exciting role with a view to lead our diagnostic ultrasound MSK project. You will be trained to be an expert in the below techniques and will be expected to run workshops and clinical meetings with our clients. This role will be very diverse in the customer base and so it is very important to have the ability to present to the specific audience as well as having a very positive attitude.

 

THE KEY CLIENTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE:

  • Elite Sports Teams (including English Premier League)
  • Private Hospitals
  • Private Practices

 

OUR SOFT TISSUE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • Diagnostic Ultrasound
  • Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM)
  • Targeted Negative Pressure
  • Focused Shockwave

 

THE ROLE

We are looking for a candidate who can combine clinical excellence with commercial awareness and drive this project. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contacting new clients (we have a large database but some cold calling will be required)
  • Arranging meetings
  • Demonstrating/presenting the equipment to clinicians and patients
  • Arranging seminars/training sessions
  • Getting clients to attend seminars/training sessions
  • Ultimately to get them to a point where they want to buy the equipment
  • Collecting research
  • Becoming an expert at using our tools and being able to convey how others can
  • Providing clinical support and advice to patients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with our clients

 

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • A degree in Sonography, Physiotherapy, Sports Therapy or Sports Rehabilitation
  • Minimum of 1 year experience using Diagnostic Ultrasound (ideally within MSK)
  • Driven and positive attitude
  • Be available to work flexible hours
  • An interest in using technology with rehabilitation
  • Confident and excellent communicator
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

 

This is a Manchester based role but lots of travel will be required. We will consider full and part time for the right candidate. Good basic salary plus uncapped bonus. Salary to be discussed in person dependent upon qualifications.
